QUAKE’s Q4000 is a rugged industrial grade modem that is small enough to hold in your hand. It fuses dual-mode functionality over multiple satellite and GSM terrestrial networks with GPS, into an ingenious all-in-one remote asset tracking solution. The Q4000 is designed to meet exacting standards on automotive power conditioning requirements and features a low power draw loadfor battery operated applications. The Q4000 uses an API (Application Programming Interface) that empowers developers to integrate its functions and build customized onboard applications.

Clients are given a wide array of fully customizable options, including multiple inputs/outputs, antenna detection, J 1939 CAN Bus, memory and network accessibility based on their technical and functional requirements.

The Q4000 enables system integrators the ease to adapt their design to a single protocol, transmitted across multiple satellite and terrestrial systems through the implementation of QUAKE’s patented technology, the only universal communications protocol in the industry. With this feature, not only are development costs and timelines reduced considerably, end-users are also granted an unprecedented number of network system options to select based on their needs. The Q4000 offers a modifiable solution and is designed for multiple applications. The Q4000 can retrieve data automatically from remote power substations and metering facilities such as oil and gas supply stations while reducing costs.
